Invicta House B&B in Golspie truly embodies the warm Highland hospitality that makes any traveler feel at home. Overlooking the stunning Dornoch Firth, the location is perfect for leisurely coastal walks or exploring the nearby historic castles. The room was impeccably clean, featuring a fantastic shower and all the comforts one could need, including a well-stocked tea and coffee tray - a delightful touch for a history teacher like myself, who enjoys unwinding with a good book after a day of exploring. The owners were exceptionally friendly, making sure our stay was enjoyable while accommodating our dietary preferences, which even included lactose-free options at breakfast. It felt like a slice of Scotland where one could truly indulge in the local culture, and the homemade breakfast, especially the full Scottish option, was a fantastic way to start our days. I particularly appreciated the easy, free street parking right outside, making it hassle-free to explore the breathtaking surroundings with my family and our beloved dog by our side. A perfect getaway for anyone looking to combine history, nature, and comfort!
